In short: ECE Notes has no accounts, no ads, no tracking, and does not collect, sell or share your personal data.
ECE Notes is an offline-first study app that provides university electronics & communication engineering notes, important questions and past-year papers. This policy explains how the app handles information when you use it.
We do not require an account and we do not collect personal information such as your name, email, phone number or precise location. The app stores the following only on your own device, and never sends it to us: • Which units you have marked as read • Which PDF files you have downloaded for offline use • Your theme preference
Notes and papers are downloaded directly from our public content server when you tap Download. These files are saved to your device storage so they remain available offline. You can delete any downloaded file at any time from the Saved page or from within a note.
Some subjects link out to public Google Drive folders or the btechbook.in website. When you open these links, you leave the app and the respective service (for example, Google) applies its own privacy policy. ECE Notes does not control and is not responsible for those external services.
The app checks your network connectivity to show whether you are online and to let offline notes keep working. This is used only as an on-screen hint and the app continues to function if the check is unavailable. The app does not request access to your photos, videos, camera, microphone or precise location.
ECE Notes does not include third-party advertising and does not use analytics tracking that identifies you. No usage profiles are built, shared or sold.
The app is intended for students and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Because all preferences and downloads live on your device, you are always in control. Clearing the app data or uninstalling the app removes them permanently from your device.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
